Group IT provides the entire BAM organisation with IT services from a continuously expanding perspective. More and more new services are being added to the portfolio. This expansion of the portfolio, in which various international programmes and projects (digital transformation) were started, gave rise to the wish to expand our team with a Senior Information Security Analyst.
As an Information Security Analyst in the Group Cyber Security Team, you will play a key role in the analysis, design, support and oversight of the security functions that underpin BAM Group’s security posture.
Working with Internal stakeholders across the various group OpCo’s, external partners and suppliers you will be responsible for acquiring and assessing information relating to Information Security initiatives, principles and technologies.
Monitoring Information and Cyber Security news & RSS feeds relating to the latest vulnerabilities and threats that may pose a risk to BAM Group and its customers. Ensuring and reporting that all OpCo’s are aligned to Group Information Security Policies and practices.
The role also requires the ability to take either a technical and/or compliance requirement and be able to assist in the analysis and design of an appropriate solution to meet the requirement.
Your role will include but will not be exclusive to:
- Hands on technical role with various security products;
- Analysis and testing of security software and devices in a number of BAM environments including tracking and remediating vulnerabilities as appropriate;
- Analysing security systems logs and reports;
- Monitoring and responding to security incidents;
- Performing vulnerability scans and penetration tests.
- Ensuring that activities conform to internal and external compliance requirements;
- Knowledge of firewall products VPN technologies and Identity management systems (ACS, ISE);
- Monitoring for changes in compliance and standards;
- Potential for implementation and project work.
Who are we looking for?
As a Security Information Analyst you are content driven, resourceful, independent, analytical, eager to learn, solution-oriented, communicative strong, advisory and a creative thinker. You find it a challenge to outsmart hackers. Because change is often accompanied by resistance, you are also environmentally sensitive, strong in cooperation, proactive and a go-getter.
You have earned your spurs as a Security Analyst for at least 5 years and by acting as a Security Analyst and ethical hacker in complex organisations. You have a thorough knowledge of Security Architectures, 2 factor authentication solutions and protocols (especially RSA), Security Systems Analysis and Design, Experience and a thorough understanding of security tools including but not limited to metasploit, nessus, wireshark, nmap. You must also have experience with digital forensics and associated tools such as N-Case, etc. Must have security certifications such as CISSP and CEH. You have knowledge of key security related governance based on standards such as ISO27001, compliance guidelines such as PCI-DSS, WWFT, and laws and regulations such as WPR and GDPR. In addition, you have experience with operational security processes, security management and incident response, for example in the role of ISO. As a result, you also know how IT security is implemented in operational processes.
You are well able to build relationships, nationally and internationally, in the business and within our IT organization. You have a 'can-do' mentality and find a solution for everything. You have no problem with giving solicited and unsolicited advice on IT security, including at senior management level. In addition, you have strong written and oral expression skills, also in English, since all security documents are in English. International travel will be required. Place of employment is UK or Netherlands (Bunnik).
